Then, recently I received some email telling me that some products are dangerous to use. At first, I really think that email was telling the truth and I was about to post it in my blog to let all my friends know about it and have some pre-caution. Then, I wanted to find more related information about it so I search it in google and then I found out that the email was a fake. By then, I only realised that we can’t just listen to everything other people said but we must try our best to find out the truth ourself.

Recently a brand called "Red Earth" decreased their prices from $67 to $9.90. It contained lead. Lead is a chemical which causes cancer.

The Brands which contain lead are:
1.. CHRISTIAN DIOR
2. LANCOME
3. CLINIQUE
4. Y.S.L
5. ESTEE LAUDER
6. SHISEIDO
7. RED EARTH (Lip Gloss)
8. CHANEL (Lip Conditioner)
9. MARKET AMERICA-MOTNES LIPSTICK.

The higher the lead content, the greater the chance of causing cancer.

After doing a test on lipsticks, it was found that the Y.S.L. lipstick contained the most amount of lead.

Watch out for those lipsticks which are supposed to stay longer. If your lipstick stays longer, it is because of the higher content of lead.

Here is the test you can do yourself:

1. Put some lipstick on your hand.
2. Use a Gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.
3. If the lipstick color changes to black then you know the lipstick contains lead.

The power of internet is very strong, so be sure to use it wisely. But for those who are using lipstick, it is sure that the amount of lead in the lipstick will not cause any health problem to the user but the cumulative amount is what should be your concern. If can, don’t use it because you look pretty without it since you are born and you look the same now. emoticon
